I think these turtles are one of the most perplexing creatures in all of OTGW. The first time I watched The show I was CONVINCED the turtles had some huge meaning, but it was never explained. However, every character who consumed the turtles has a strange appearance…. Very weird. Don’t eat turtles I guess?
