This design was both for fun (love drawing fish) and deeply sentimental. When I was a kid, my dad’s father had a blueberry farm in upstate NY. On the farm were a few man made lakes that had trout, frogs, and every bug you can imagine. I learned how to fish and identify a bunch of different animals in insects there, and I hold those memories very close to my heart!
